In the High Desert areas (Victorville, Apple Valley, Hesperia, Adelanto, etc.), we strongly recommend weekly service during spring, summer, and early fall. The intense sun, dry heat (often 100°F+), constant dust/wind, and rapid evaporation create perfect conditions for algae growth and fast chlorine loss. Weekly cleaning (with robotic vacuuming, brushing, skimming, and full chemical balancing) prevents most problems and keeps water crystal clear.

Bi-weekly (every 2 weeks) can work in winter (Oct–Feb) for low-use or covered pools, but even then we prefer weekly to avoid buildup from occasional rain or wind-blown debris.

Now, for other parts of San Bernardino County (excluding High Desert) —such as the San Bernardino valley areas (San Bernardino city, Colton, Rialto, Fontana, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, Redlands, Loma Linda, etc.)—the recommendation is slightly different due to milder climate, less extreme heat, lower dust, and slightly higher humidity.
Summer / peak season (May–September): Weekly is still ideal for most pools, especially if used frequently or if there are trees/leaf debris nearby. Weekly keeps chlorine stable, prevents algae, and maintains clear water.
